Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Offer assistance to walk-in customers.
  • Advise and recommend suitable products based on the client's needs.
  • Assist with stocks check and cashiering duties.
  • Responsible for creating and organizing a pleasant shopping environment for customers, including updating of price tags and promotional materials.
  • Perform any other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to converse in English & Chinese is an advantage.
  • Able to work retail hours including weekends and Public Holidays.

  • Full time: 6 days work week with retail hours. (include Saturday and Sunday)

  • Able to handle horticultural machinery and powered hand tools.
  • Preferred applicant with WSQ certificate in landscape operations and/or relevant landscape maintenance experience.

  • Perform accounting duties, assist in necessary account, bank, and other reconciliations
  • Perform basic office tasks, such as filling, data entry, answering phone calls
  • Reconcile financial books including incoming and outgoing funds
  • Assist in preparing monthly reports to the management
  • Assist in preparing payment vouchers and cheques
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Handle general or other ad-hoc admin duties
  • Prepare daily staff claims

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Maintain and update employee records (i. e. personal details, interview application form)
  • Update HR databases (i.e. annual leave application, MC records, leave balance)
  • Assist in payroll preparation, check monthly attendance and overtime sheet (full-time & part-time employee)
  • Assists with creating/drafting templates, contracts, memos, letters and reports
  • Assists with processing of terminations, employee’s handover, setting up job interviews, screening applicants, corresponding with applicants, and training new employees on company policies
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by immediate supervisor
  • Provide basic secretarial and administrative support to management
  • Performs other duties as assigned
